Hay
que incluir un párrafo, que podría considerarse obligado, sobre la
reducción de la pobreza en El Salvador, según datos de la EHPM de la DIGESTYC: en las dos administraciones
gubernamentales recientes la pobreza se ha reducido
significativamente con relación a períodos anteriores. Del año
2000 al año 2009 la pobreza total se redujo en un UNO POR CIENTO en
cifras redondas (39% a 38%) y en el período del 2009 al 2017 la
pobreza total se redujo en un DIEZ POR CIENTO (38% a 28%) y la
reducción el mayor si se consideran los programas sociales.
